The EFP held its 15th Working Group Meeting in Porto

Porto – a city in the northern Part of Portugal, was the place to be for the EETS community beginning of November. The EETS Facilitation Platform, which held its 15th Working Group Meeting, gathered more than 60 participants covering the main stakeholders of the tolling industry

The agenda was packed and discussions intense, but even though there are very different opinions between the stakeholders the EFP is creating an atmosphere where a very open and fruitful communication is possible. The EFP Toll Charger Expert Group on accreditation and re-accreditation showed first results in the ambition to achieve harmonization in this field. Besides that the EETS Remuneration Study Team contracted by DG Move presented their preliminary results. Additionally, presentations about Tolling in Portugal, the A69 in France, EETS Implementation in Slovenia, Future changes of CO2 tolling and various Updates from Toll Chargers and EETS Providers/Service Providers rounded off the 2-day program.

A big THANK YOU to Ascendi/APCAP who not only served as the host for this meeting, but also offered the participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in Portuguese culture through a visit to a port wine cellar.
